Long time no see

Sebastian RulliOoups, not been there in a while. Sick during holidays, then having trouble finding some balance... Life sucks, as everybody knows, but sometimes, on top of that, it's also very blurry and messy...

Anyway, in order to cheer us up a little, here's a picture of a cute cutie (note the cute cuteness of the cute :-P )

Found him on Cisoto Fotos :-)

The Black Reeds

A few centimeters away from the spot wher I took yesterday's picture stood a couple of black reeds emerging from the green leaves and light colors of the plants around. I had to enhance the piture's exposure to make them shine from the beauty of their dark tones. I just love them. Perhaps will I crop the picture to make it look even better... Keep you posted!

The Purple Sky

The weather is nice in Paris this summer, but still, a few clouds come and make rain fall for a few minutes every other day. On Tuesday, I went to yet another concert in the Jardins de Bagatelle. The weather was dangerously cloudy - it even rained during the concert, which create a very intersting ambiance in the concert room. During the intermission, the sky had unusual colors, which I tried to capture behind a small tree with orange flowers, contrasting with the purply aspect behind.

Paris Pride March

Last Saturday was Paris' Gay Pride march. I was there, it seemed there was much more people than usual. It last for like for five and a half hour (from the departure of the head of the march to the arrival of the last people in the demonstration). As usual, gorgeous boys, great bodies showed like delicious merchandise. Except I didn't take the picture of a single one this year. Just didn't care... Gosh life's changing like hell...

The River Seine

Once again, a picture taken a few minutes away from my place. Along the river Seine on a sunny Sunday. It looks like the trees want to protect the barges comfortably installed at their side.

The Indian Chestnut Tree

Still coming from the park nearby, a really huge Indian chestnut tree, kind of the king of the place, but kinda lonely too... No cage like the peacock, but an astonishing sensation of loneliness, when he's the only one around to reach the skies.

But it is a well-known fact, that kings are often lonely in their majesty.

The Peacock

This park near my office is the source of many wonders. Of course, it is often full of people utterly unable to appreciate the beauty of these wonders. Kids run everywhere without taking time to have a look, grownups eat or talk about work, which is even worse. I come and look, I use the beauty to isolate myself from the rest of the world.

And, from time to time, I take a picture. Like the picture above, of a peacock I disturbed while he was washing itself. Unlike the peacocks in the Jardins de Bagatelle, this one is in captivity, and I couldn't help but wonder if he had enough space in his really few square feet of a cage...
