
This park near my office is the source of many wonders. Of course, it is often full of people utterly unable to appreciate the beauty of these wonders. Kids run everywhere without taking time to have a look, grownups eat or talk about work, which is even worse. I come and look, I use the beauty to isolate myself from the rest of the world.
And, from time to time, I take a picture. Like the picture above, of a peacock I disturbed while he was washing itself. Unlike the peacocks in the
Jardins de Bagatelle, this one is in captivity, and I couldn't help but wonder if he had enough space in his really few square feet of a cage...
